Upper Bounds Interactive Inc. (Upper Bounds) respects and protects the privacy of its users. We do not sell or
furnish other organizations, individuals, or the public with your personal information. The sections below
outline what personal information may be volunteered and how it is handled. In an attempt to be as transparent
as possible, this policy is written in clear and concise language. Any questions or concerns may be directed
to the e-mail found at the bottom of this page.

asked to submit your e-mail address. Your address is used exclusively by Upper Bounds to communicate with
you. Upper Bounds will not make public or otherwise distribute your e-mail address. You may, however, choose to
make your e-mail public in the forums. This is opt-in and voluntary. Additionally, we will not send
unsolicited e-mails to you.
Newsletter
When you sign up for the
Tactile 3D Newsletter you will be asked to supply your e-mail address, name, and
broad geographical location. Only your e-mail address is required. You may enter an alias for your name if so desired.
The other information is completely voluntary and is collected for purposes of better understanding who our audience is.
Your e-mail address will be verified to complete the subscription process, ensuring that others cannot sign you up
without your knowledge. Unsubscription goes through a similar verification process, ensuring others cannot unsubscribe
you without your knowledge. If you decide to unsubscribe, you will be removed from our database immediately after

Forums
When you sign up for the
Tactile 3D Forums you will be asked to supply your e-mail address, an alias, and a
password. All other information is voluntary. You may choose to allow your e-mail to be viewable publically, but by
default it is kept hidden. The forum system uses cookies to store information on your local computer. These cookies
are used only to improve the usability of the forum system by remembering such things as login details (if you so
choose). Cookies are in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site.
Cookies are not used for tracking or collection of personal information of any kind. The e-mail address is used
to confirm your registration details and password as well as sending
new passwords should you forget your current one.
When you register and post in our forums your IP address is stored on our server. This protects you as a member and us
as a company when identifying that the user who posted is indeed authentic. This information will only be used in cases
of abuse or misuse of any of the features on the board or in any dispute. The board administrator is able to ban
by IP address.
Payment
If you decide to authorize
Tactile 3D for use past the trial period, you will need to purchase an
authorization key. The transaction itself is NOT handled by Upper Bounds. A secure and trusted payment
processor is used. No sensitive information, including credit card number and expiry date, is stored, or in-fact
received, by Upper Bounds. Your credit card information is never stored on an unsecured computer. Links
to the processing gateway are supplied so you can verify their security. Upper Bounds does receive relevent transaction
details from the processor. These details include dollar amount, name, e-mail, transaction number, as well as other relevant
information. If you have further questions, please send your query to the e-mail listed at the bottom of this policy.
Authorization
After a successful authorization payment, an
authorization key will be e-mailed to you. This key contains
some personally identifiable information. Specifically your full name and e-mail address. When you authorize
the
Tactile 3D product you will be asked to enter this key. This process signs the
Tactile 3D
executable with your specific key. The above personal information becomes part of the
Tactile 3D executable
file.
Product
The
Tactile 3D product itself does not contain any spyware, adware, or malware. It does not transmit any personal
information from your hard disk. It does not unduly (beyond what it needs to operate) steal CPU cycles. It does not
directly communicate statistics, usage information, or personal information over the internet to our servers. It does
not require an internet connection to operate. It may, in the normal course of operation, request information from web-based
services or may request information from the operating system that is retrieved over the internet. Examples include URL web
site thumbnail extraction, viewing of remote folders and drives, and accessing CD album information using the CDDB protocol.
In all cases no personal information is transmitted.
Statistics
Some statistical information regarding site visitors is maintained. Our servers collect information for
such purposes as assessing what site content is of most and least interest, determining technical design
specifications, and identifying system performance or problem areas. We use the information we collect to measure
the number of visitors to the different sections of our site, and to help us make our site more useful to visitors.
The information collected by Upper Bounds servers is only used by Upper Bounds. Your specific data is never shared
with others. Furthermore, Upper Bounds uses cookies and
Google Analytics to collect anonymous traffic data.
